Skyhawks roll to three-set home victory in Arrowhead opener
Sauk strong, start to finish
DIXON – Determined to win their conference opener on their home court, the Sauk Valley Skyhawks wasted little time setting the tone against Black Hawk East on Wednesday night.
Sauk jumped out to a 16-5 lead in the opening set, then held off a Black Hawk East surge in the second set to make short work of the Warriors 25-18, 25-22, 25-11.
"Our goal tonight was to start strong and finish strong," freshman setter Karly Koch said, "and we definitely did that."
