A look at six steps set forth following former comptroller’s arrest
DIXON – The day after the FBI took the city’s longtime comptroller out of City Hall in handcuffs, Mayor Jim Burke made six promises.
Of those, the Dixon City Council has fulfilled three, is in the process of another, and has decided against carrying out the other two.
Those first steps, Burke said in a prepared statement, were designed to “restore the credibility and confidence going forward.”
