Jailed migrant said to be ‘very frightened’
Man didn't cause crash, but jailed on fleeing charge
THOMSON – No one is accusing Badera Aguilar-Montero, 21, of causing an accident that killed another driver.
Still, he is in jail under a $100,000 bond.
Aguilar-Montero, who doesn’t speak English, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal traffic crash, a felony, and two traffic offenses: having no valid driver’s license and illegally transporting alcohol.
