Richard Lee 'Dick' Webb

DIXON – Richard Lee “Dick” Webb, 76, of Dixon, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was a laborer in Union Local 727, before his retirement.

Richard was born May 22, 1936, in Dixon, the son of Marion and Gladys (Beatty) Webb. He married Judy Christensen-Morgan on Sept. 2, 1983, in Dixon. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Dixon. Dick enjoyed camping and playing bluegrass music. He played and sang for The Road Apples and The Farm Hands.

Survivors include his wife of Dixon; two sons, Mark Webb of Dixon and Todd (Julie) Morgan of Amboy; six daughters, Debbie (Al) Gowan and Christine Burger, both of Rock Falls, Connie (Doug) Waller of Dixon, Lorie (Joe) Webb-Saathoff of Sterling, Tracy Morgan of Carlsbad, Calif., and Rhonda (Tim) Drew of Dixon; one brother, William “Bill” (Donna) Webb of Dixon; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
