Grand jury indicts JetBlue passenger from Chicago
DENVER (AP) — A Chicago man accused of groping a pregnant woman and not following crew instructions on a JetBlue flight that made an emergency landing in Denver has been formally indicted on two federal charges.
A grand jury has indicted 32-year-old Marcus Covington on charges of interference with a flight attendant and abusive sexual contact on an aircraft. He is due back in court Friday.
Authorities allege Covington was intoxicated and groped the woman while waiting for the bathroom on a Los Angeles-bound flight from New York late Sunday.
