Fred Appleman Sr.
AMBOY – Fred Appleman Sr., 71, of Amboy, died Saturday Aug. 25, 2012, in his home. He was born Jan. 14, 1941, in his grandparents' home in Amboy, the son of William and Helen (Jones) Appleman. He had been employed as a welder and assembler at Heico/Spartan Tool in Mendota for 39 years, prior to his retirement in 2003.
He was a veteran of the Army.
Fred enjoyed woodworking and his grandchildren's academic and athletic achievements.
