DAVENPORT, Iowa – Dinosaurs haven't been around for a long time. Even so their secrets are far from safe.

Dinosaurs Unearthed, an exhibit at the Putnam Museum, explores those secrets. Fortunately, the exhibit is staying longer than planned. Originally, it was due to move on in July, but now it will be in Davenport through Sept. 9. It's been popular enough for an extended stay.

Those who haven't indulged in the splendor of dinosaurs can do so for $2 less than earlier visitors. This exhibition contains no less than 14 life-like animatronic dinosaurs. Among them are reptiles with feathers, fossil replicas and life-size skeletons.
