Joseph L. Rockett

AMBOY – Joseph L. Rockett, 69, of Amboy, formerly of Dixon, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Amboy Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He had worked at several restaurants in Dixon.

He was born March 21,1943, in McLeansboro, the son of Curtis and Anna (Pisarkiewicz) Rockett.

He is survived by his siblings, Anita Rockett and Ernest Rockett, both of Dixon; a niece, a nephew; and a great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ronald Rockett.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Morrissey of St. Anne Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
