STERLING – John A. Wyatt, 53, of Sterling, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

He was born Dec. 14, 1958, in Garden City, Kan., the son of Jesse Eugene and Mary Haseltine (Cook) Wyatt. He had worked as a mechanic.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandi Wyatt (Roberto Morales) of Princeton; his sons, John Wyatt Jr. of Sumner and Jake Wyatt (Amanda Rumbley) of Princeton; mother of his children, Lori Wyatt; mother, Mary Wyatt of Sterling; four sisters, Darlene Stombaugh of Rock Falls, Mary Ann (James) Divers and Evelyn (Chesley) Olrroyd, both of Erie, and Barbara (Bob) Merrill of Gary, Ind.; three brothers, Don (Bev) Wyatt of Marshfield, Mo., Kenneth (Brenda) Wyatt of Rock Falls and James (Tina) Wyatt of Conway, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
