Men with local ties arrested in Annawan ATM, bank thefts
Suspects may be linked to Sterling ATM thefts
STERLING – Sterling police may have caught a break in the 3-month-old ATM thefts.
Robert W. Zais, 26, of Tampico, and Robert A. Lambert, 30, of Kewanee, charged with stealing an Annawan mobile banking center safe and a convenience store ATM, also are suspects in the Sterling ATM thefts, police said Monday.
The men were in Henry County Jail on $500,000 bond.
