School board passes preliminary budget
Public hearings set on proposed consolidation with Nelson Elementary School District
ROCK FALLS – The East Coloma school board passed a preliminary budget and set times for consolidation hearings Thursday.
The preliminary budget projects $2,095,836 in revenue and $2,356,845 in expenses, leaving a deficit of $261,009.
A bond sale in January, though, will bring in $450,000, which will help keep the district afloat, Superintendent Kevin Andersen said.
