Savanna teen on ATV killed in head-on collision
SAVANNA – A Hanover man won't be cited in a head-on collision Wednesday that killed a Savanna teen driving an ATV, Carroll County Sheriff Jeff Doran said Friday.
Nicholas W. Swift, 18, who was not wearing a helmet, died before emergency responders could airlift him to a hospital, Doran said.
Sheriff's deputies were called about 11:25 a.m. to the scene north of Savanna, on Camp Creek Road about 2 miles west of Zion Road.
