High school football: New turf, new coach usher in emphasis in pass game
Air apparent
STERLING – Before the completion of the turf project at Roscoe Eades Stadium, first-year Sterling head coach Jon Schlemmer had designs on how he planned to put it to use.
Literal designs. In fact, he showed them to Tanner Morse during down time in health class in the form of some plays he'd been drawing up.
"We've been talking about the offense long before the season started," Morse said. "I think we both have the same sense of what we'd like to happen throughout the play. I'd like to say we've got a pretty good relationship."
