Traditional cinnamon rolls don't meet new standards
MORRISON – Students with a sweet tooth may be disappointed next week.
The school district is ending its tradition of serving cinnamon rolls, thanks to a federal push for more nutritional meals.
A cinnamon roll counts as three servings of bread and that takes up more than the average daily allowance, officials say.
