ELK GROVE, Calif. – Donna J. Matznick, 81, of Elk Grove, Calif., formerly of Sterling, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. She retired from National Manufacturing Co. in Sterling.

She was born July 10, 1931, in Rock Falls, to Robert and Mary Cowley.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Matznick of Elk Grove; children, Michael (Carol) of North Carolina, Janet (Mark) Chapman of Roseville, Calif., and Linda (Chris) Eck of Elk Grove; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Robert (Dorothy) Cowley, James (Jean) Cowley, Lee (Debbie) Cowley, John Cowley, Mary Ann Dettman, Vella Simpson, Jane Koeppen, Peggy (Fred) Drew and Carol Jacobs.
