Wow ... 3 days of rain ... in the same week ... what are we going to do with all that extra water? Well, nothing, ‘cause there still isn’t any extra. It is a start, however, and things are much cooler.

Right now, as you read this, we again are making history on our great Rock River. We are out fishing the first “manufactured bait only” tournament to ever be held here. Participants can only use manufactured or homemade cheese baits, paste baits or any other gooey concoction.

It sure levels the playing field, while giving local cheese chemists a chance to strut their stuff in front of the big established baits like G and S, Sonny’s and Bowker’s (just to name a few).
