POLO – An inexperienced group of young players and a first-year coach is often the perfect storm that causes teams to struggle.
Last year was no exception for the Polo Marcos.
In their first season in the “bigger” half of the
Northwest Upstate Illini Conference, the Marcos failed to win a conference game. After a Week 1 win over rival Milledgeville, Polo was often outgunned by deeper, more experienced teams.
