Larry R. Jones, 61, of Rock Falls; 7 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; violation of stalking no contact order; taken to Lee County Jail.

Two 16-year-old Dixon boys; 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of West Boyd Street; battery; released to parents.

Sen. Tim Bivins, R-Dixon, joined with many of his fellow Senate Republicans this week to reject a pension bill sponsored by Democratic Senate President John Cullerton of Chicago. The measure passed 40-16. Bivins had a different reason for his no vote.
