Thomson sale takes a timeout in political game
Maybe a congressman from Virginia is stalling to run the clock out on the state’s sale of the Thomson prison to the federal government. Or maybe the game is a lot bigger than that.
Election-year games in Washington do not normally have a direct effect on the Sauk Valley.
But a lot is at stake in this presidential election year, so we might as well get used to being a front-row spectator between now and the Nov. 6 election.
