Thomas P. Lewandowski II

OREGON – Thomas P. Lewandowski II, 30, of Oregon, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at his home. 

Thomas was born Oct. 3, 1981, in Sterling, the son of Thomas P. and Tammy (Gray) Lewandowski. Tom graduated from Oregon High School, class of 2000; he also graduated from Highland Community College in 2007, with an associate degree in applied science. Tom also attended Northern Illinois University. He liked to fish, play guitar, write music, the outdoors, and photography, and he earned his green belt in martial arts.

Tom is survived by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Tammy Lewandowski; sister, Liz (David) Mancuso, and niece and nephew, Nikia and Connor Mancuso, all of Andover, Minn.; many aunts and uncles; and his paternal grandfather, Joe Lewandowski.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the memorial service, at 2 p.m., Saturday at Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt St., Mount Morris, with the Rev. Frank Lay officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockford Rescue Mission.
