Scott C. Taft

DIXON – Scott C. Taft, 42, of Dixon, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

Scott was born Nov. 17, 1969, in Dixon, the son of Frederick “David” and Darlene (Nuttall) Taft. He was an assembler at Allied Locke for 4 years.

Survivors include his parents, David and Darlene Taft of Dixon; sisters, Pamela Vivian of Dixon, Teresa (Carthel) Baker of Oregon, Melissa (Gary) Sanders of Dixon and Laura (Scott) Coblentz of Camargo; his grandmothers, Ada Brown of Dixon and Lena Taft of Dundee; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, a grandmother and a great-nephew.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family gathering has been held. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
