Prosecutors file objections in Crundwell civil suit
ROCKFORD – Federal prosecutors say a Rockford veterinary clinic and an Ohio horse company have no “security interest” or standing in a lawsuit that seeks to seize and sell more than 400 horses belonging to former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell.
In court documents filed Monday, prosecutors objected to a motion to intervene filed last month by Strathman Veterinary Services and a claim filed by Katafiasz Futurity Horses LLC.
Both motions will be heard Friday.
