'Upset' judge sets new trial date for Byron Adams
Defense struggling to reach witnesses
DIXON – A judge has reluctantly delayed the trial for Dixon murder defendant Byron Adams.
The trial now is scheduled to start Oct. 1.
Defense attorney David Mandrgoc on Friday asked for the delay, saying he had had a hard time reaching some witnesses for the trial, which had been set to start Aug. 13.
