Woman, 74, dies in crash
BYRON – A Byron woman was pronounced dead Tuesday night at SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford hospital after her car crashed into a tree.
Ogle County sheriff’s deputies said they suspect Judith B. Anderson, 74, had a medical condition that might have led to the crash, which happened about 7 p.m. in the 8500 block of Olympia Drive.
Anderson was on Yosemite Drive near the intersection of Olympia when her car left the road and hit the tree, deputies said.
