Douglas E. ‘Doug’ Utz

DIXON – Douglas E. “Doug” Utz, 74, of Dixon, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. He was a pastor at various churches before retiring.

Doug was born March 15, 1938, in Dixon, the son of Marion and Ruth (Lengel) Utz. He married Jeanette R. Wiltshire on June 13, 1959, in Athelstane, Wis. He was a graduate of North Central College.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; one son, Daniel (Sharla) Utz of Round Lake Beach; three daughters, Rebekah Utz and Rachel Utz, both of Dixon, and Mary (Brian) Yager of Fullerton, Calif.; and one brother, Robert Utz of Corona, Calif.
