Annual fundraising ride on tap
STERLING – This year’s Proud to Wear Pink motorcycle ride is especially significant to Sandi Ivey and the rest of Team Underwires’ members.
The organization is having its fifth annual charity motorcycle ride, to raise money for CGH Health Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Prevention Program and the Home of Hope Cancer Wellness Center, on Aug. 18.
In cancer survivor terms, 5 years after treatment is a milestone. “That’s a cancer-free mark to you,” said Ivey, co-founder and president of Team Underwires.
