Motorcyclist killed in Carroll County
SAVANNA – A Moline man was killed about 9 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve on Scenic Ridge Road north of Savanna and hit a tree, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department said.
Timothy Foster, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was riding with friends at the time, and was wearing a helmet, Deputy Denny Patch said.
“He just lost it on the curve,” Patch said.
