Donate a book to help troops

STERLING – Kirlin's Hallmark is working with Operation Support Our Troops to send recordable storybooks to U.S. soldiers for Christmas.

Troops can record their voices as they read “The Night Before Christmas” and “Charlie Brown Christmas,” and send the books back home to their families.

The public can donate now through Aug. 31 at Kirlin's Hallmark stores.

Kirlin's will be responsible for sales tax, shipping and packaging the storybooks.

The Sterling store is at 2900 E. Lincolnway.
