DIXON – The proposed boat dock at Heritage Crossing is estimated to cost about $153,000, including labor.
The Riverfront Commission’s boat dock committee presented a cost estimate for the dock, which will accommodate 13 boats, at a meeting Saturday.
The materials will cost about $82,305; while $42,500 is needed for a vertical anchoring system, according to the estimate by Union-based EZ Dock (www.ez-dock.com), which makes modular docking systems. Labor will cost about $28,000, commission Chairman Larry Reed said.
