MORRISON – Lavern “Vern” Larson, 63, of Morrison, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at his home. He worked at Stanley-National Manufacturing Co. for 27 years.

Vern was born June 3, 1949, in Morrison, the son of Irwin N. and Lois L. (Durward) Larson. He was a veteran of the Army, serving from 1969 to 1971. He was an E5 sergeant and served in Germany. He married Pamela Shaw in 1968, in Palmyra, Mo. He later married Susan Hummel in 1972, in Morrison. He later married Barbara Roberts in 2003, in Las Vegas. Vern was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Candy (Anne) Larson of Marseilles and Nikki (Tom) Jenkins of Clinton, Iowa; one son, Chad (Marissa) Larson of Chicago; stepdaughter, Heather (Nick) Bramm of Morrison; two grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Larson of Spring City, Tenn.; first wife, Pam Habben of Morrison; and second wife, Sue Larson of Morrison.
