Allene Galloway

STERLING – Allene Galloway, 87, of Sterling, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at her home.

Allene was born Dec. 14, 1924, in Chinook, Mont., the daughter of Willis and Katherine (Garman) Smoot. She married Weldon “Joe” Galloway on July 13, 1943, in Sterling. Allene was a member of First Christian Church in Sterling.

Survivors include her husband of Sterling; one son, Steve (Julie) Galloway of Iowa City; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
