James family to be discussed

STERLING – The Whiteside Co. Genealogists will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the meeting room at Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce, 211 Locust St.

The program will be the James Family of Whiteside County – Then and Now. Liz Butler of Genesee Township, the presenter, will be accompanied by Jane James of Malvern. Butler recently moved to the area not realizing she was returning to land of her ancestors. 

The meeting is open to the public.
