Autopsy today on Amboy man found dead in home

AMBOY – An autopsy was scheduled at 1 p.m. today for a 79-year-old man who was found dead in his Amboy home Wednesday night.

Lee County Sheriff John Varga said the death of Delmar Leroy Daniels is being investigated as a homicide.

Lee County Coroner Jesse Partington said he could not speculate on the cause of death.
