Talks about possible business park in Rock Falls begin
City wants to develop at new sewer plant site
ROCK FALLS – The city’s Industrial Development Commission meets today to discuss the possibility of building a new business park on 80 acres at the new sewer plant.
Alderman Glen Kuhlemier, a member of the commission, said the group will discuss how it wants to design the area, which is zoned for manufacturing, and whether it will have a combination of business and industrial enterprises.
Because of the plant’s proximity, hooking up to sewer and electric would be very inexpensive,
