Harnish preparing to contribute as Colts backup QB
Former Northern Illinois quarterback Chandler Harnish says he is ready to move on from being known as Mr. Irrelevant – the last player selected in the 2012 NFL draft.
Harnish returned from his Mr. Irrelevant Week experience this month sounding like a kid on Christmas Day.
“I went out to Orange County and spent about 5 days there with my family and friends,” Harnish said Tuesday during an interview. “I got to meet all of the people from Irrelevant Week. We went to Disneyland, the NFL Network. ... we had a banquet in my honor. I got to go golfing and go on a yacht on July 4th at Newport Harbor. It was a great experience.
