Northland Mall’s stolen ATM found
Teens find gutted machine in ravine near Newman Central Catholic High School
STERLING – Two teens fishing in a ravine near Newman Central Catholic High School Tuesday afternoon found the gutted ATM stolen from Northland Mall 2 months ago.
The discovery came just one day after police from several agencies looked for the machine in the Hennepin Canal, near where they found the Gator used in the break-in.
State Police crime scene investigators will examine the Sauk Valley Bank ATM in the hopes of finding new evidence, Detective Mike Henry said.
