No more boulders, more parking spots at Page Park
Park district improvement projects to replace rocks with curbs
DIXON – The boulders that raised the ire of many Dixon residents no longer will line Page Drive if an improvement plan is approved, the park district’s executive director said.
The project would involve installing about 71 parking spots along Page and Armory drives and replacing the boulders with a mountable curb, Deb Carey said.
The boulders, which cost about $1,800, will be crushed and used during the construction project, she said.
