ROCK FALLS – Juan J. Velazquez Jr., 57, of Rock Falls, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Morrison Community Hospital. He was employed by Chicago Northwestern Railroad.

Juan was born Aug. 24, 1954, in Sterling, the son of Teodoro and Isabel (Gonzalez) Velazquez.

Survivors include four sisters, Maria (David) Garcia of Georgetown, Texas, Irma (Juan) Chavez and Hope Rhodes, both of Sterling, and Delia (Miguel) Escribano of Champaign; and three brothers, Ruben Velazquez and Antonio (Treasure) Velazquez, both of Rock Falls, and Luis Velazquez of Sterling.
