TAMPICO – Dora Faye Hostetler, the daughter of Amos and Kathryn (Unzicker) Hostetler, was born Dec. 9, 1933, in Roanoke. She peacefully passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her home, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 5 days. She was diagnosed with cancer Feb. 10, 2011. She taught in local schools during her lifetime.

Dora accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized in her youth. She was a member of Tourist Mennonite Church in Sarasota, Fla.

Surviving are two sisters and three brothers, twin sister, Doris Gerdes and Alta and husband, Stanley Headings, both of Tampico, and Don Hostetler of Hotchkiss, Colo., and Paul Hostetler and his wife, Elva, and Les Hostetler and his wife, Bertha, both of Tampico. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
