Schuldt, Kishwaukee lead at Lincoln Highway
MORRISON – It’s no surprise Ember Schuldt is leading individually, and Kishwaukee Country Club is on top as a team midway through the Women’s Lincoln Highway golf tournament.
What is a bit of a surprise is they each have competitors nipping at their heels after Friday’s opening round.
Schuldt, competing for Emerald Hill, finished with a best against bogey score of +14, just one ahead of Kish’s Bobbie Cesarek, while Kishwaukee is at +33 as a team, just three ahead of Timber Creek. The second round is slated for Saturday, with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.
