Stabbing suspect pleads not guilty
MORRISON – A Sterling man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he stabbed two men late last month.
Ryan M. Mills, 25, faces four counts of aggravated battery; he is in Whiteside County Jail on $500,000 bond and has a pretrial conference Aug. 22.
Police were called o West 12th Street and Avenue K about 1:30 a.m. June 30. Mills and the two men had gotten into a heated argument and he stabbed them with a knife with a 3-inch blade, police say.
