Richard D. Lappin

HARMON – Richard D. Lappin, 58, of Harmon, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Richard was born Sept. 20, 1953, in Belvidere, the son of Leverett and Maxine (Yerk) Lappin. He married Caryl L. Unger on Nov. 22, 1985, in Dixon.

Survivors include his wife of Harmon; children, Jenifer Grobe of Dixon, Christopher Letcher of Pontiac and Jonathan Grobe of Harmon; sister, Mary Rodarte, not of the area; brothers, Larry (Jill) Lappin of Dixon, Denny (Karen) Lappin of Poplar Grove and Billy Lappin of Georgia; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
