Rock Falls teen charged with breaking into homes
ROCK FALLS – A 15-year-old Rock Falls boy was arrested Tuesday after police say he broke into two homes and stole purses and a laptop.
He is charged with three counts of residential burglary and possession of less than 7 grams of marijuana, a misdemeanor. He was taken to the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center in Galesburg.
A 16-year-old Rock Falls boy who was with him at the time of his arrest also was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession. He was released to his parents.
