Morrison to seek bids for demolition
MORRISON – The city now owns the dilapidated apartment building at 703-705 W. Morris St. On Monday, the City Council voted to go out to bid for its demolition.
A judge had ordered the transfer of the property to the city.
Morris Street residents have been pushing for the city to take action. Some feared the building would collapse.
