DIXON – H. Lorraine Tucker, 90, of Dixon, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She owned and operated Lorraine’s Beauty Salon before retiring.

Lorraine was born Dec. 8, 1921, in Dwight, the daughter of William and Cora L. (Beiswinger) Perchnick. She married Norris E. Tucker Sr. on Dec. 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dixon.

Survivors include one son, Norris E. (Debra) Tucker Jr. of Dixon; three daughters, Jeanette (Charles) Lindsay of Flat Rock, and Shirley (Gary) Steder and Donna Tucker Rippeon, both of Dixon; one sister, Marjorie Lauritsen of Dwight; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandson.
