STERLING – Dorothy Stralow, 92, of Sterling, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Dorothy was born April 16, 1920, in Morrison, the daughter of Amos and Gertrude (Bates) Burkholder. She married Harold Stralow on Oct. 9, 1937, in Clinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1988. Dorothy was a member of Coleta United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Janie (Dan) Saunders of Monticello, Iowa; one son, Kent (Marilyn) Stralow of Morrison; one daughter-in-law, Linda Stralow; one brother, Russell Burkholder of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
