Some Mumford & Sons campers will have to move

DIXON – The 4,000 campers organizers had planned to house at Camp Reynoldswood for the August Mumford & Sons concert is too many, Lee County Sheriff John Varga said.

Nearly 15,000 people are expected to be in the city for the sold-out concert. About 5,500 of them bought camping tickets, which are good for Friday and Saturday nights.

The Christian campsite, located at 621 Reynoldswood Road, just outside of the city limits, is one of three locations organizers had planned on using as campsites for out-of-town visitors.
