Federal trial set for three accused of growing pot
ROCKFORD – Three of four men charged with running a large-scale marijuana-growing operation in Paw Paw last year will go to trial Aug. 6.
Donald Cipra, 28, Shannon L. Gregory, 40, both of Paw Paw, and Eric M. Konrady, 26, of Naperville, all are charged in federal court with conspiring to manufacture 100 or more marijuana plants and possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug conspiracy.
A fourth man, Benjamin F. Garcia, 27, of Aurora, pleaded guilty to the charges in December. His sentencing date has not yet been set.
