Swimming: Yemm likely closes career on high note at Olympic trials
Steve Yemm is leaning heavily on going out with a bang.
Yemm, a 2007 Sterling High School graduate, likely ended his competitive career with a rousing performance in the 100-meter butterfly at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials Saturday in Omaha, Neb.
Yemm was competing in the same meet with greats Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, who he beat in a 50 fly in May. He was seeded 72nd in the 100 fly.
