Disagrees with secular logic used by writer

This letter is a response to Bret Bushaw, who recently offered a response to another letter on July 2. I respect your views as a secular man, and we can agree to disagree peacefully – the wonderful thing about America. However, I have to take issue with the logic of your philosophy point by point.

First, I would argue that secularism is a worldview; it simply isn’t a theistic worldview. Would you be kind enough to share whether your worldview permits the existence of God? If not, why? If so, why should a man’s religious views not affect the whole of his life, including public service? If a Christian votes his morals, secularists accuse him of pushing an agenda; if contrary to his stated morals, he’s a hypocrite.

Second, it’s a mistake to assume that only theistic people are biased and that only secularists are capable of using logic coherently.

Good or bad? Depends on who you ask

Sometimes readers ask for more good news in the paper. They say we in the media only cover the bad. But one person's positive is another's negative.

My kind of game

I would have gladly paid to take in the game I covered Saturday morning in Morrison.
